Men's Rings

Men's rings might be the most worn piece of men's jewelry. Even men who wear no other jewelry usually wear a ring at some point in their lives at least as a wedding band.

Mens rings, just like women's jewelry, span the spectrum of ring styles and materials. The most popular fashion choices in men's rings include:

• Sterling silver rings for men (or other alloy compositions of silver ring in mens styles; sometimes 'lesser' alloys are actually better than sterling silver rings as men are hard on their hands and for a man silver rings in harder alloys may last longer)
• Mens diamond rings
• Mens cubic zirconia rings (For a less expensive options with great looks choose cheap cubic; a man ring and zirconia stone alternative costs less, but still looks great. Cubic Zirconia are very hard to distinguish from diamonds when they are of good quality – it takes a jeweler to do it – so for a man a cubic zirconia ring will never betray the low price tag.

These are the basic fashion pieces men choose. For a more personalized, choose a men's ring that showcases a favorite theme, meaning, or symbol of power. For example, mens dragon rings or mens Celtic rings are high in symbolism.

As mentioned, the widest purpose served by men's rings is for mens wedding rings. For the man, wedding ring choices are as diverse as for a woman. Choices in mens wedding ring styles include:

• Make the choice for the active man a platinum wedding ring; platinum is a rare precious metal that wears very well. It is rugged enough to withstand a man's rough lifestyle.
• A less expensive choice that maintains a similar look to platinum for the man - a wedding ring in white gold. White gold is softer than platinum, but great looking and much more affordable.
• When a more elaborate style is wanted, choose for the man a diamond wedding ring. Men's diamond wedding ring styles easily match the lady's finger.
• Men's titanium wedding rings are an extremely tough metal choice but with a very lightweight. Titanium is growing more and more popular in men's wedding rings fashions for its comfort, durability, and look. The drawback, like platinum, is that titanium is pricey. White gold is a good alternative to titanium, too.

Of course, the traditional yellow gold is also an excellent choice for a man's wedding ring. Yellow gold is more affordable than the rarer metals, and (like white gold), maintains durability when bought in lower karat numbers (like 10K yellow gold men's wedding rings). For less brutal lifestyles, higher karat numbers are appropriate.

Men have plenty of choices in men's ring styles. Whether for a show of fashion and favorite symbolic meaning or an impending lifetime commitment, any man can easily find a men's ring he will be more than proud to wear and display.
